# Unregistered Hispanic Voters

The [Washington Post reported](https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-intersect/wp/2016/09/27/google-searches-for-registrarse-para-votar-hit-all-time-high-during-debate/) this week that searches for the phrase registrarse para votar, which is register to vote in Spanish, hit an all-time high during Monday night’s debate by surpassing over 100,000 Google searches.

**We took a deep dive into the Resonate platform to learn more about Hispanics that are eligible to vote in the U.S. but have yet to register:**

- When it comes to regulation, this audience is 60% more likely than the average Hispanic registered voter to believe that climate change should be addressed solely by market forces without any government regulations.
- They are also:
  - 27% more likely than the average Hispanic registered voter to be persuadable on legalizing marijuana for general recreational use.
  - 37% more likely to identify as a fiscal moderate than the average Hispanic registered voter.
  - 27% more likely than the average Hispanic registered voter to believe healthcare solutions should be addressed by marketplace forces and not government rules and regulations.
